This is an Executive Summary of the Best Leadership Lessons from Jocko Willink and Leif Babin’s book “Extreme Ownership…how US Navy SEALs Lead and Win.”

As a retired Army Special Forces officer, my natural tendency is to give Navy SEALs a hard time.  But I‘ve got to give them respect.  These guys nailed it.  They absolutely identified and elaborated on one of the all time most important characteristics of leadership:  Assuming Responsibility … or in their words… taking Extreme Ownership.
